Psychological safety is the capacity to maintain one’s distance from danger, feel at ease with oneself, and rely on one’s own ability to defend against destructive impulses that originate from oneself or from others. Promoting employee well-being, job satisfaction, and productivity all depend on psychological safety.

This course will explore the definition of psychological safety, its importance in the workplace, how to foster a psychologically safe attitude, and strategies necessary to support it.
